We all know what 'irritable' means and we all know what a bowel is since we all have one.
But syndrome? Why do they say syndrome which suggests that it is a bunch of different things? In medicine whenever they don't know how to explain something or what it is or where it came from they say it's a syndrome. That attempts to let them off the hook for not being able to explain to their patients what's going on. Why are you bleeding from the butt? Why do you have mucus coming out every time you have a bowel movement?
These guys don't have any idea so they give you names like colitis which just means there's some pain irritation but you know that already. Or crohn's disease. Julia hell is Crohn's?
It's just as bad with the natural guys. What these guys coming out of college are doing is repeating the same theories of the other guys who don't know what they're doing. Don't buy into the bullshit that these conditions are caused by the immune system attacking itself. They are using the same method of trying to kill the germs or calm down the immune system which of the wrong strategy as the medical people. They just try to do these things with herbs and such.
So don't let the word syndrome scare you. You've simply got a bowel that is irritated.
IBS is easy to fix.
