This is pretty simple—–itis = irritation-pain-inflammation.
Ulcerative Colitis just means that the colon has an ulcer which results when the itis is either ignored or does not receive proper treatment.
IC-Interstitial Cystitis is exactly the same condition but occurs in the bladder and as with colitis can be very painful.
Sinusitis – bronchitis – arthritis are all the same thing just in different locations.
If you’ve got pain you’ve got an itis and in all of these examples the tissue can be repaired and you can then live a normal itis free life.
BTW regarding arthritis, oftentimes the pain that we experience in any part of the body is referred to as pain, particularly from the gastro-intestinal tract and I can’t tell you how many times when repairing someone’s colon they also found that these other aches and pains either went completely away or improved significantly.
